These fixings are mounted through a sliding rail inside the box which allows placing your box in the perfect forwards to backwards position on the vehicle. This also enables boot access with minimal or no contact between the boot door and Motion 3 Roof box.For the most simple loading of luggage into the Roof Box Thule have made the Motion 3 - M dual side opening this allows access to either side of the box, so getting to your loaded luggage should be much easier. Thanks to the robust construction of the lid along with a wide handle, opening and closing the motion 3 is much smoother. A SlideLock securing system with separate opening and locking functions auto locks the roof box lid in place and has an indicator to show it is securely closed.
